BMW ETK: BMW parts diagrams and part numbers online
ETK (Elektronischer Teilekatalog) is BMW's electronic parts catalogue. SoloCatalog lets you use BMW ETK data free in the browser: enter the VIN or its last seven characters, open the diagram and copy the BMW part number.
What is included
SoloCatalog uses BMW ETK data from release 2020-01, with BMW series, body types, engines and production periods as the dealers' catalogue organises them.
Search by VIN or the last 7 characters
BMW identifies a car by the last seven characters of its VIN, often called the short VIN or chassis number. Enter the full VIN or those seven characters and SoloCatalog finds the car in ETK's chassis ranges, then opens its series with the right production date.
How BMW diagrams are organised
ETK splits each car into main groups such as engine, fuel, gearbox, axles, brakes, body and electrics, then into drawings. Select a part in the drawing's list to see its 11-digit BMW part number, quantity and notes.
Options and fitment
Some BMW parts depend on option codes. Rows whose conditions cannot be evaluated yet are left out of the VIN-scoped list rather than shown as a guess, so check the series view if a part seems missing.
Limits to know
Coverage ends with the January 2020 release, so later cars may not open. Diagrams have no clickable hotspots; parts are chosen from the list beside the drawing. Always confirm the final number with your supplier before ordering, because manufacturers replace part numbers over time.
Is the BMW ETK free?
Yes. Searching, viewing diagrams and copying part numbers on SoloCatalog.com is free. Only putting the catalogue on your own website is a paid website package.
What is the BMW short VIN?
The last seven characters of the VIN. ETK uses them to identify the car, and SoloCatalog accepts them on their own.
Do I need to install ETK software?
No. SoloCatalog runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, with nothing to install or update.
Is SoloCatalog an official manufacturer site?
No. SoloCatalog is an independent catalogue operated by Ula Soft LLC. BMW are trademarks of their owners.
