ETKA online: the VW Group parts catalogue in your browser
ETKA is the Volkswagen Group's electronic parts catalogue, the one dealers use to find original parts for Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda and SEAT. SoloCatalog puts the ETKA 2026-01 catalogue data online, so you can search by VIN and copy genuine part numbers on any phone or computer, free and without installing anything.
What ETKA is
ETKA (Elektronischer Teilekatalog) is the parts catalogue the VW Group supplies to its dealers. Every model is split into main groups such as engine, fuel and exhaust, gearbox, axles and steering, wheels and brakes, body and electrics. Each group has exploded drawings with position numbers, and each position leads to the original part number, quantity, notes and the conditions under which it fits.
Which brands and markets are included
SoloCatalog uses the ETKA 2026-01 release for Volkswagen, Audi, Škoda and SEAT (including CUPRA models sold under SEAT). Markets include Europe and the rest of the world, the USA, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and South Africa, plus Canada for Audi and China-built models from FAW-VW and SAIC VW.
How to use ETKA online by VIN
Enter the 17-character VIN. SoloCatalog finds the vehicle in the ETKA VIN base, opens the right model catalogue and reads the car's engine, gearbox and factory option (PR) codes. Open a main group, choose the drawing, find the position number and copy the part number. Parts the VIN rules out are hidden. Parts the VIN data cannot decide stay visible and are labelled so you can check them.
Why the VIN matters for VW Group parts
The same Golf, A4 or Octavia can use different brake discs, pads, sensors or trim depending on its PR codes, engine code and production date. ETKA marks parts with these conditions. Searching by VIN applies them for you instead of leaving you to compare long lists by hand.
ETKA online versus the ETKA program
The original ETKA is Windows software for dealers and needs its own licence and installation. SoloCatalog is a website: nothing to install or update, it works on phones, and searching, viewing drawings and copying part numbers is free. It is a catalogue for identifying parts; it does not sell parts or replace dealer systems such as ordering or warranty.
Limits to know
Coverage ends with the January 2026 release, so newer vehicles may not open yet. The VIN must be in the ETKA VIN base; frame or chassis numbers are not searched. Part search works inside the vehicle's catalogue by part number or English part name. Always confirm the final number with your supplier, because manufacturers supersede numbers over time.
